Mobile Bicycle & Equipment Repair
Why Mobile Service?
Blacklist Bikes was formed with one goal in mind, making your bike shop experience easier, safer and less time consuming, so you have more time to get out to ride. Mobile bicycle repair services are not a new concept. Mobile repair service companies have become a popular option in many urban areas, which meant it was just a matter of time for the Centre region to become viable for this type of service. Blacklist is excited to offer this service to the greater State College area with our mobile repair shop, as a supplement to our new brick-and-mortar shop, The Bike Roost, in downtown Boalsburg. Give us a call at 814-205-3605 or email today to see why our mobile repair service is just what you need.
Our Capabilities
Most mobile services are focused on light duty tune ups and minor accessories, but Blacklist is committed to offering a full-service experience. We want to offer you the whole bike shop package, so we went big on our mobile service van to fit everything we may need to totally overhaul your ride. From threaded bottom bracket taps, alignment tools, bottle boss riv-nut guns, to your basic 3-way wrench, we have it all. Suspension service will now be handled at our physical store for most 50 hour service, and damper service on a case by case basis. Please call 814-808-2520 to discuss your suspension needs.
Servicing the Greater State College Area
How it works: Call or text 814-205-3605 or email jim@blacklist.bike to request an appointment to discuss your needs, number of bikes and location. Schedule an appointment. We arrive at your home or business and provide a more thorough estimate.
Agreed upon work is then performed on the spot. If additional parts need to be ordered, we can take the bike to our physical store and return it to you upon completion.
If you are within 15miles of downtown State College, our trip to your location is free!
Minimum orders may apply for distance over 15 miles. Call for a quote.
With the arrival of our retail store in Boalsburg, The Bike Roost, we have adjusted our price structure to bill for service at $120 per hour in 5 minute increments.
